Excellent chair and even better customer service. I loved the chair out of the box but didn’t realize one of the rivots was missing from the foot rest. First time I leaned on it, it crumpled. Contacted customer support and had a new footrest in two days. Thanks again.... oh and the chair is perfect for a shop.... I love it

I ordered this chair for my shop to replace another cheaper one. My key concern was quality, and this chair satisfied on that criteria. I also wanted one that did not have the lousy upholstery of many of the other chairs listed - this one is a moulded compressable plastic foam with a very durable surface perfect for a shop setting. The mechanicals are solid, the adjustable back and height work well, the adjustable foot ring is good. While the assembly was fine, there were no written instructions or even a picture. It required setting out the parts, trying the obvious steps first, and as the parts were used, determining how to assemble the remaining parts. It's necessary to try a few steps to find the correct assembly. There was a retainer screwed into the top of the cylinder that had to be removed - I learned that after finding I could not adjust the height cylinder, had a look and realized a retainer was in place for shipping and had to be removed. There are three pairs of screws, all different lengths that must be placed correctly, a little trial and error was needed to get the different lengths in their proper place. I could have docked a star for the lack of instructions, but the superior quality of the chair earned it 5 stars.
